These poems are written for every student who did not want to be in school, those who worry about spending forever in third grade, and for every teacher who had a class who always forgot lunch money. The book contains thirty eight poems. The poems throughout capture all of the excitements and challenges of life in elementary school. With each turn of a page there is a new school surprise!

These poems are appealing to students because they are relatable. They use rhyming to create rhythm and make them fun and easy to read. students will love reading about these students' excitements and problems of elementary school. The book is a definite book that I would have in my future classroom.
